Wu Guojuan. Professor. Professor Wu was born in 1956 and started work in 1982. At present, she’s an academic leader of Beijing University of Agriculture, Executive Member of the Branch of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology, CAAV, as well as the teaching material evaluate expert of Beijing Municipal Education Commission. Besides, she’s the Committee member of many committees, such as China Veterinary Medicine Committee, China Green Food Expert Advisory Committee, and Beijing Veterinary Review Committee. Her lectures are about pharmacologyofChinesemateriamedica, veterinary toxicology, veterinary pharmacology, drugs and healthy, etc. Professor Wu Guojuan’s main research fields are pharmacologyofChinesemateriamedica and residue of veterinary drug. Until now, she has taken charge of and participated in many projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China, Chinese State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, Beijing Natural Science Foundation Committee, Beijing Municipal Education Commission and Beijing Municipal Commission of Rural Affairs. Her publications include over 60 papers, 10 of which were received by SCI, BA, CA, and two books, Pollution-free cow cultivation techniques and prevention of diseases and Research methods of feed additives of natural Chinese herbal medicine. She was awarded Academic Promotion Prize by Japan Meiji University in 1998. In 2003, she won Excellent Paper Prize, awarded by the Branch of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology, CAAV, and in 2004, she was honored as 2002-2004 advanced worker of three aspects education of Beijing University of Agriculture.
